Consorcio Madroño is committed to values such as Quality, Continuous Improvement and Excellence in service.
Furthermore, the 2016-2020 Strategic Plan identifies Excellence in quality and Focus on the customer / end user as two key values in our organization.
The Plan also includes a specific Strategic Goal defined as Quality & Organization Improvement. In order to achieve such objective, a group of tasks formulated as “Improvement of efficiency and quality in processes, and internal awareness of such processes” has been defined. The implementation of a management system based on quality started in 2009, including the analysis of current processes and workflows, the documentation of procedures and the definition of quality & performance indicators, along with the audit process performed by the management.
As a result of the effort to integrate Quality in all our activities, Consorcio Madroño obtained the UNE-EN ISO 2991:2008 certification, issued by AENOR. Madroño has become the very first Spanish Library Consortia to obtain such certification.
